This course has been designed for all those who want to approach the world of virtual reality as protagonists and not just as users. We’ll have a look at the tools, hardwares and softwares available on the market and how the web is changing as a result of this new virtual revolution.
No programming experience is required to follow this course, however, it is recommended to have practicality with the use of PC and problem-solving skills.
At the end of this course, you will be able to create an immersive experience for the web or for smartphones.

Articulated experience in cinema products launch, in organization of events, in integrated management of digital, social and VR platforms.
In his current role as Strategic and Digital Marketing Manager of Rai Cinema, he has launched the first Italian VR app for film content and events and he has curated Rai’s first transmedia project, Happy Birthday.
He has been previously Marketing Manager at 01 Distribution and Medusa Cinema.
Born in Teramo in 1975, he graduated in Political Science in 2000 at the University of Bologna.
In 2001 he obtained the Publitalia ’80 Master in Marketing and Communication at the end of which he was hired by Medusa Film.
She spent his childhood in Cinecittà’s studios in Rome following his father at work: her love for cinema was born that way, among theatres, set designers and toolmakers.
Today Manuela is an entrepreneur capable of managing complex and very different projects, from auteur films to virtual reality shorts, from TV commercials to transmedia projects with a great attention to genre films and visual effects.
In 1998, she “debuts” on sets at the age of 18, as assistant production secretary for the film
“A midsummer night’s dream”, the first in a series of international productions in which she will take part.
She consolidated her professional training and her know-how in the field working for directors such as Martin Scorsese in “Gangs of New York”, Wes Anderson in “The Adventures of Steve Zissou”, Steven Soderbergh in “Ocean’s Twelve”. Her latest film, before becoming a producer, is “Mary” by Abel Ferrara, as Production Manager.
After an internship in Manhattan at Cappa Productions and Miramax, she returned to Italy and immersed herself in the world of digital and VFX by joining Direct2Brain, of which she is still a member/partner today.
In 2006 she founded the film and audiovisual production company “ONE MORE PICTURES” and in the same year she was able to realize the most important project of her life, that of becoming a mother.
In 2014 a division dedicated to VR is created for both commercial and cinema applications.
Manuela has won numerous Italian and international awards thanks to the creation of commercials and video clips.
She has been teacher at the HOLDEN SCHOOL where she held a course of “CROSSMEDIA” and in the year 2019-2020 she will hold the course of “VIDEO DESIGN” at the European Institute of Design.
Manuela is very active in the social field. She has been committed for years against violence against women by supporting the ONLUS “DOUBLE DEFENCE”, being close to children and people with health problems by supporting the ONLUS” MEDICINEMA and more recently she has access to the lighthouse on the theme of Hikikomori with the project Happy Birthday.
In 2011 she produced the first feature film “Fairytale” aka “The Haunting of Helena”, a Horror in English and in 2013 she produced the second feature film of the English-language Horror genre “Neverlake”. Both films, co-produced with RAI CINEMA, are among the top 100 most watched Italian films in the world according to an observatory in Strasbourg on European cinema. (ANSA – year 2015 )
In 2015 she produced the thriller “In Fondo al bosco” directed by Stefano Lodovichi, a SKY production in association with Onemore Pictures. It is the first film ever produced by Sky Italians for theatrical exploitation.
In 2017 she produced “Otzi and The Mystery of Time” in co-production with Rai Cinema and Beta Cinema. A fantasy – family movie in English language that had the honor to win as best film the prestigious “GIFFONI FILM FESTIVAL” in 2018.
Barbara is a Journalist, author and Rai anchorwoman, former violinist, she graduated in Literature and Philosophy at “La Sapienza” University of Rome.
Since 2017 she has been the creator, author and anchorwoman on Rai1 of “CODICE, La vita è digitale”, a program about the complexity in the digital age. She produces reportages from all over the world coordinating an editorial staff of authors, directors and videomakers.
Since 2007 Barbara has been hosting the afternoon and night edition of tg1, for which she produces specials of 60 min. on the theme of digital societies.
From 2007 to 2009 she edited “Italia Italiae – stories of successful immigrants”, a column she created for tg1.

I was born in Yemen in 1990. I obtained my master’s degree in Molecular Biotechnology from Jacobs University Bremen in Germany and currently work as a full time science communicator (not for a company or anything, I just do it myself). I run my own Facebook page “Hashem Al-Ghaili” which has over 32 million followers and reaches around 400 million users per week. My videos on Facebook have garnered nearly 12 billion views. They cover a wide range of subjects: astronomy, physics, biology, medicine, nature, technology and innovation. My science communication activity extends to YouTube, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.

He was lecturer for various schools and private companies about coding (c#, JScript, .Net) and professional courses about Unity engine. Picked by Unity in 2016 to cover the role of Evangelist on a global scale, he chose to continue his entrepreneurial path.
Manuela works at Rai Cinema, in the Stategical and Digital Marketing area, for the research, the production and the development of content to the web site dedicated to cinema. She graduated in Modern Letters at the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna, she then followed a Master in Marketing and Communication at the IULM University of Milan. She started working for Mediaset as a director of TV programs, in 2006 she moved to Rome in order to follow her passion for cinema and here she worked on several movie sets, since 2011 she has become part of Rai Cinema’s staff.
Tommaso was born in Rome in 1989. He graduated in Political Science at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome. After obtaining a two-year master’s degree in communication and new media, he began to work in the field of communication and digital journalism, simultaneously passing the state exam as a professional journalist. After a 3-year experience at the Sport Network, the first Italian advertising company dedicated to the world of sport where he personally took care of the editorial and multimedial management of the Corrieredellosport.it and Tuttosport.com online sites, he began an internship in the communication and digital society marketing “Armosia”, where he had the opportunity to expand and perfect his skills in Digital Pr, Marketing and social media.
